shotgun idea
I've been messing around with some bb's in a small caliber pneumatic. I couldn't come up with a good way to get them to work as a shotgun type of shot. The only think I can think of is having two unions next to eachother and use very weak burst disks. The bb's would be somewhat packed between the disks. Its a little over kill just for that shotgun effect. I'm sure there is better ways. Its jus an idea I thought I'd share.

For my mini rifle i get a little slice of pre cut potato put it in the barrel then i get around 10 tiny shot gun pellets put them in and then i put another slice of potato and ram it down the barrel. (works pretty well)

cheap, easy, fun...thats the way to do it.Brian the brain wrote:Wrap ém in toiletpaper...
I use a crayola marker cap, It can hold around 15 bbs. Then you just get a little wet toilet paper to plug up the end so the bbs don't fall out. Works great in higher powered guns. You can't be to close to the target because if you do the marker won't have time to "bust" open and the bbs to spread out. Stay ayleast 50 ft. from the target. It works great and has never failed me.

For large bore guns you can put the bb's in a paper cup.

Yep...
I've shot 150 bb's a time like that.
With the sawed-off that makes HUGE holes!

For bigger guns, I use a toilet roll wrapped in electrical tape as a shell, then fill it with shrapnel such as marbles, BBs, bits of led, or any other random bits I can find. then block each end off with tissue. This is the best way to hunt rabbits I reckon.
