Don't try to salvage stuff from model rocket engines or sparklers, or any fireworks for that matter. You can make your own pyrotechnics with things available OTC.
And if anyone mentions the anarchist cookbook, I will have to hunt them down and beat the crap out of them.

ammosmoke knows quite a few people who are prone to extream exadurations.
That is just what he heard on the news, ok? They have been known to exaggerate to scare people off.

They made them with like 50gallon plastic bags. And, the person could very well have been exaggerating on the depth of the water.

How big was that one that went off in the car recently?

Ok, that is like a seriously dangerous book. It is unreliable, shows very little detail, and in fact, was just developed as a governmental protest, not a book of experiments. It has lots of inaccuracies, and some parts of it are
just plain wrong. I wouldn't want to make a high explosive, (or a normal
one for that matter), with directions a paragraph to a page long!
The book is just pure idiocy.
