Hey all, I think I’ve got a problem; I lost one of the screws out of my sprinkler valve and although it still holds pressure, or at least 10 PSI, I don’t know if it would be safe at 100 PSI.
Do you think it would be safe or had I better try and fix it?
Missing screw…

it shouldn't cost more than $1 to get a new screw, just take one of the other ones to home depot and have them find one like it. I think you might have to cut the end off the screw, but that's not that difficult. It probably wouldn't give you any problems, but it's an easy fix.
edit:before I tell you it probably won't give you any problems I should ask, is it one of those valves that has like 10 screws on the top or one of the ones with 4? if it's one of the ones with just 4 or 5 I'd definitely replace it immediately.

It should have eight ("8"). I think I’ll see about getting a new screw tonight when I make a run into home-cheapo. Thanks
