Can someone tell me how to build a MINI tennis ball gun? it can either use a ball valve or a sprinkler valve

What i know is the barrel is 2.5'' coz that's the exact size of a tennis ball.
I have a shrader valve,pressure gauge,and a compressore.

So can someone tell me what other fittings i have to buy besides the 2.5'' barrel?

THANK YOU!!!

Umm:
3 inch, 12 inch long pvc sch 40.
3 inch sch. 40 cap
3 inch to 2 inch reducer
2 inch to 1 inch reducer
1 inch to male threaded adapter
modded or unmodded sprinkler valve
1 inch to 2 inch reducer
2 inch to 2.5 inch adapter

Build it like an inline and the three inch is the chamber.

killagorrila99 does the ADAPTERS and the REDUCERS have to also be pvc sch. 40 or not?

Also the chamber, you said to use (3'', 12'' long pvc sch. 40.) my question is what amount of pressure should i use in this chamber? --thanx--

Yes all parts need to be Sch. 40. If you really wanted to you could use Sch. 80 but there is no reason to do this in a typical launcher. But yes all parts need to be at least Sch. 40 and Pressure rated(make sure the fittings say NSF-PW and not NSF-DWV) I would not pressurize it over 125PSI because of the valve.

Make a piston valve if possible. Other than that buy a 2 inch valve off ebay.

well as a simple fact in most cases the bigger valve = better flow = more preformance, of course the speed the valve opens is a big factor but if we were just talking about one specific type of valve its always bigger is better

Ok, seriously, what fitting would you need?Just take a second and think about it. ANd how would you build a mini tennis ball launcher?
Last time I checked 2.5" is pretty big.
