Hey guys, I have a mission for you. I am collecting as many cool photographs of launchers in action as possible. I need pictures that shot something incredible, something cool, or people having fun while shooting. (Think family-fun style.)

This is for my website, for a page that I hope can show people just how much fun these can be, how cool they are, and that it can be a great group activity. I'd love videos as well.

If you can find existing images/video or shoot some of your own sometime this week or so, that would be awesome! Just remember that it has to be publically acceptable. Thanks everyone!

What range of guns are you looking at? The whole lot or just hybrids/combustion and pneumatic? I've got a video of me shooting my cloud, and my new paintball gun got welded yesterday(FE tanks) so I'll post a few pics and videos. Do you want damage pics or just pics of the gun firing?

Hmm.

I don't know quite what you mean, but as a guess - something a bit like your current avatar?

I could find a couple of those if that's what you mean.
Novacastrian: How about use whatever the heck you can get your hands on?
frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

I will take a video of the swat tomorrow, shooting, hmmm, the mp3 player, but something a little more "exciting" too. how about I try a pop can shot for distance, maby at some trees. :P

yes, I will shoot an old beer can at a tree, then in a second video, I will show the aftermath.

any videos you want me to take, gort? :D

I'm not sure on hybrids because those are not always understood by the public and they may seem too dangerous.

As for damage shots, I'd like them to be as pretty as possible. I don't want images of destruction in people's minds; I want images of power and fun.

Joanna, you are exactly on the right track. I actually have that exact picture in my folder for the gallery at the moment. And if you could get some pictures of you and your brother, that would be great! Finding girl spudders is very hard. That would be awesome for the gallery.

Thank you for finding that thread, Crowley. I wanted those pictures but forgot where I saw them.

If you guys would like to make some videos, that would be great. Just try to have them be as impressive as possible. And also, I hate to be picky, but I'd like it to look very professional, so if you wouldn't mind, please clean up the cannon before taking photos or video. (Use this as an opportunity to clean your guns and keep your prized possessions looking nice.)

I don't know which of you may remember this, but my uncle took this amazing picture of my axe-powered caulk tube launcher which is a perfect example of one of the things I'm looking for:

Thanks again. Keep em coming!

WOW! Looks like you shot a glow stick.......hmm I might actually try that :P

Do you have any ideas? If you have any ideas small bore wise I have a 10mm copper barrel,25mm PVC barrel and 15mm PVC(Paintball Size) barrel, So if you have any specific ammo that fits in one of those barrels i'll be happy to find it and shoot it :P

Cool, is that that the muzzle flash or is the caulk tube on fire?

It's both. I purposely sprayed a lot of extra fuel onto a paper towel in the caulk tube to keep it wicking out during the shot. Man it looks cool...

Unfortunately, i can't think of any small bore ideas. I only have things on my site with relatively large bores and I generally only shoot 1.5" and up. But I'd still love anything you guys can get me that looks good.

In professor's water bottle noise maker thread, there's a bunch of fire pics from water bottle combustions. Is that stuff what you want? I'll try to get some shots of my pneumatic tomorrow too.

I was looking at it earlier today and though it is very cool, I cannot use it because it is one of those pictures that are not the best for the general public. Things similar to that can be good for this though.

I am especially looking for pictures of people using it. More specifically, multiple people. Be sure to not look destructive at all. Try to include a wide age/sex/race range. Try to have the background look clean or at least fun. Standing by an old crap shed is not good. Standing in a nice open field is good.

Pretend that the photos will be in a well-known magazine. I am looking for that kind of quality. (I don't mean the resolution, but good resolution is appreciated.)

I tried to get my GF to fire my new over-under combustions (I'll post it as soon as I paint it, and I have to wait for it to warm up outside for that), but she's afraid of the kick. Rightfully so, even with a spud it feels like a low-brass 12g round.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

Okay, I've decided since this is dying down, I should offer something to bring this into action. I need some good pictures and video here, so I'll offer to give 50 spud bux for each picture and 100 bux for each video I use in the gallery.

Good luck. Happy spudding!
