Hello everyone, Im 15, new here, just came off of a PSP hacking forum so if any of you have a psp, Im the guy to ask, trust me, I know a lot, you can get SNES games, PS1 games, Sega games, Gameboy games on your psp and more....

anyway, here is my first "spud" gun, The idea simply came from this clip, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4GBMOrZDMI)about 7 minutes in or so...If anyone knows top gear then you will know who that is

I liked the idea of a handle, and so, a couple of days later, here I am, and here are the pics, the container wrapped in tape is Tag body spray, and there is a grey pipe because its industrial strength PVC from my dad

Nice gun, but you used DWV parts. This should be ok for a combustion, but if you build another cannon, try to use pressure rated fittings.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Well, first, ill update my post with my revised gun, because i made the combustion chamber bigger for a better ratio

Now, as for how far it shoots, I would say a good 100-150 yards, just a estimate though

Well, ill start off, you might have no idea what im talking about so ill try to dumb it down

My current firmware is 3.03 OE-C, where i can play psp iso's off the mem card, I can also play any ps1 game on my psp using a popstation converter, I have a snes emulator, GBA emulator, and I can watch full resolution videos on my psp because the psp actually cant play full resolution videos without some mods, sony did that for some reason, some other simple stuff, I can change the gameboot of my psp (the little clip that plays when you start a UMD or whatnot)

You have a nice gunhow ever I urge that you dont use is because of the DWV. There are several people on this forum that had they guns made from DWV blow on them and lucky for them they lived. DWV over time weakens (more then nsf-pw would) and the sockets fitting are smaller so they tender to blow easer then the others.

But on the gun looks good and pretty clean. Have any Damage pictures.

Nice first gun. I personally think DWV is OK for combustion only. No propane or mapp etc though. You could make your spark gap slightly bigger for more reliable shots but it should be fine.

And 'Ballad of NJ' Can you PLEASE stop bragging about and posting your gun through-out everyone ELSES thread. You made your own, no one brags in your threads so why should you. Just leave your cannon in your own thread unless its relevant to the current topic. No one likes a show off.

I agree, but when he makes another gun it would be a good idea to use pressure rated pipe and fittings. 'just in case'

read that thread/\ ANd remember a few guys says on here they had their DWV cannons blow. Also remember that guy in the video that was using DWV cannon (the pipe was orange) to destroy a car and by dumb luck he didnt die.

like everbody says the guys gun will explode. or blow apart. i think this is pissible because i have made a gun where it did not bottom out all the way( i was using abs and sockets are deep). it did blow apart on my friend while he was using it . i was also using ether. i dont think it will blow apart as long as you properly glue the joints. and not use extemly combustable stuff.

It was never confirmed whether it was either:
Terracotta pots
or
English soil pipe which is orange. Its not the same as DWV but similiar. DWV can handle a basic combustion.(Don't get confused with downpipe/thin wall)

dont worry people, ive used the gun a lot and no problems, and almost the entire combustion chamber is double layered of pvc because of the fittings and stuff, especially in my revised chamber, the only part that isnt double layered is the where the handle meets the chamber, the T piece, and on that part i put several layers of white electrical tape to suppress a explosion if one ever happens, which i doubt.
