it would be exactly the same I think, but just one spark, not a continuous one.

You won't be able to get more than 1 or 2 spark gaps with a BBQ igniter.

Carl... I've wired a sparkstrip and gotten 13 sparks with a BBQ device before.
Now, weather they where big enough to ignight something, I don't know. (because I never tested it).
But 4 good sparks shouldn't be an issue for a BBQ device.

Are those just copper wires? And is the spark just jumping across those gaps?

CAN YOU SEND ME THE INSTRUCTIONS ? I JUST MADE MY FIRST GUN THE 3RD AND IVE BEEN SHOOTING IT CONSTANTLY. IT IS JUST A BASIC STRAIGHT BARREL MADE TOTALLY OF PVC PIPE. IT HAS A BBQ IGNITER. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN GET A SIGHT OF ANY KIND ON IT?
