Using a fan in the chamber mixes the air and fuel about resulting in a beter air fuel ratio.

Chamber fans are mainly meant for larger chambers. The point is to aid in the process of venting the fumes from the previous combustion out of the chamber. Combustion produces carbon dioxide almost always. CO@ inhibits combustion, therefore if you don't get it out of the chamber before the next fire, the power will be largely diminished as there will not be enough oxygen to support the reaction. Chamber fans assist in the process of venting the CO2 out.

all of the above.
They are easy to mount inside the chamber and give a significant boost to the oomph you get from your combustion. This alone should be enough to persuade you to use one.
Plus, you have yet another feature on your sophisticated little toy to further impress your redneck friends, as well as your more educated ones.

they do quit well, as long as you aren't shooting in full auto or anything they don't get affected.

yes, but sometimes those new to looking for this type of info on the web have a hard time finding it. Especially when they are new to the sport. We have all been there and we are all still subject to asking questions that to others may seem very obvious... that is why we ask them here- to get answers from "experts" spelled out in a way where there is very little room for confusion.
Often times, the answer is easiest put forth as a hyperlink, as boiling did.

My main point: STOP FLAMING
not flaming lol. you don't know what flaming is. check some of spud stuff's posts.

it stands the heat cuz it is a quick flash of heat not a prolonged burn. when you still have burn in the chamber that is when a fan can melt and walls of it as well.

I concur with Zeig about any residual flames in the chamber after combustion. This is really the only thing that will destroy your fan (other than normal periodic replacement). This point he brought up is the main reason we use chamber fans: to evaporate and mix the fuel. You will only have residual burn in the chamber when some of your fuel has not been mixed properly, or you used too much. Yet another reason for metered propane, mapp, etc.
not flaming lol. you don't know what flaming is. check some of spud stuff's posts.

Since you brought it up, Zeig:
As a case in point: If the post has nothing productive to say and is only derogatory toward an individual, it is flaming. I have participated heavily in various forums for the past 12 years- please do not make an assumption of what I do and do not know.

The post I was referencing was not a serious flame, nor really out of line ...but it added nothing at all to the discussion. The only way it would have added to this thread is if the thread originator had set up a survey/poll, which he did not. It is just like all those who bring up dead topics and start posting in them. ie. Someone posts their new gun, five months later someone replies, "Why did you use ____?" or "nice gun."

I am not accusing any one person of flaming, but we should all be aware of and responsible for the content of our posts so that all can have an enjoyable discussion here. If we all work on it in a friendly manner, then these types of forums would be that much more enjoyable.
