Hose clamp on the barrel, epoxy it on the back by slathering the goop on the strap then wrap it around once. Better yet, you could do the same method to the back but just put a loop on so you could change or remove it should that be necessary.

Hose clamps or zip ties are the best - avoid putting holes in the cannon whenever possible.

I zip tied a big old military ammo belt to my cannon for a strap. Works great.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

I just taped mine there...lol.
Hose clamps would indeed be the best option. Just dont paint them, I've had an experience where the paint has fucked up the clamp.

Dear God, when they come to the point that people can't make simple decisions like this for themselves? Do we really need to have a forum post for every little thing? Come on guys, it is getting a little bit ridiculous, don't you think?

Do you know what I think? I think that this forum is one of the worst online I have ever taken part of. I will say that I do appreiciate all the "good" info I have agatherd here but there seems to be too many people on here that have nothing to talk about so they are just rude to others.

I mean what do you expect from a "spudgun" forum. BC Pneumatics, I think you need to just worry about your own posts and let the rest of us discuss what ever we want.

What do I expect from a spud gun forum? I don't know, frankly. But personally, I miss the good old days when people were actually making innovations and whatnot. Back when new things were being invented and it wasn't a bunch of teenagers with eight posts running around criticizing the people that have been doing this for years and years. I too think that this forum and many like it are in rapid decline, due mostly to posts by people such as yourself, that seem only to have two brain cells, which don't even get along.

I understand you have been here posting for a long time, but I'm sure you have seen this page a time or 2. http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/rules.php

you might want to refresh your self on the rules of your forum. this is a place were people come for info about spudguns not to hear shit from people who are now board of this site. I understand that all questions from new people might not spark your intrest but thats the beuty of a forum. YOU chose what you respond to. so when you see a topic that has people responding to with usefull information to help out a new "adult" with his or her gun you have no right to make me or any other new person to this site feel like we don't belong. Why should new people have to write "please don't yell at me" before any post.

why do you even come to this site if not to share your "vast" knowledge of spud guns.

Thanks to all the long time spuders that are still "willing" to help out the new guys.
:)

Ill try to stay neutral in this discussion, but I mean c'mon muddyspudman, your question was a little ridiculous.

As for the strap, I think it should look good with the gun but should also be practical. I would prefer to use the suggested hose clamps around the chamber (one in front and one in back), Id say avoid attaching to any vital joint or connection (like the barrel, sprinkler valve, etc). Be sure to balance the gun on the strap to suit your purpose (By balance, I mean something such as barrel up for general carrying purposes, level for strapped firing, etc).
