My cannon is finally to the point of firing after about 2 months of working on it. The first shot was perfect. The only flaw so far is the length of the golf ball barrel. All thats left to do is mount it to a pneumatic cylinder to adjust elevation and all. Its shoots a golf too fast to determine, and can shoot a potato through 3/4" plywood at 20 yards with no problem. It also has 2" barrel that favors candles. Here are some pictures.

hell on wheels. Its a combustion cannon mounted on a atv. looks like it has a 2 foot long 6" diam chamber and a 2" barrel, as well as a golfball barrel. It also has what looks like meatered mapp and posibly a chamber fan and ignition coil/car battery setup for the igniton source.

Yeah it's got a chamber fan. It's a big DC motor attached to a microwave plastic fan blade(s). Pushes a lot of air.

I know this is probably kicking up and old topic, but as the official pain-in-the-ass I would like to say that Karpa, (binder17), has some pretty kick-ass video of us shooting coke cans, and one real good shot that vaporized some paintballs packed into the barrel making a real good Civil War cannon effect. Now if he will just get them uploaded, or allow me to do it and handle the bandwidth. :P

yeah well, in my opinion,
"legality is really a question of whether you get caught or not."
but don't quote me lol.

I would find it very hard to beleive that a caop would give him a hard time about the cannon on the atv, and if theres even a law stating that he can't. Then again, a cop let my friend off with a warning for going 130 mph on the highway, so anything could happen.

ya none teh less it must be cool to have.

And 130 on the highway?
Try that in a crowded school zone with construction going on and getting away with it!
it wasn't me, but I saw some guy do it at my brothers school, what an asshole
maybe it wasn't 130 but he was going at least 50
