Dont worry too much dude, here in America, we have had all these hurricans and stuff, and the cost of PVC is heading for a 50% increase. All building materials is getting a 15-50% boost in price. Yes, I know this due to reading the paper.
Hell ya it has increased. The local stores prices increased right around 50% for PVC parts. Im glad I decided to stock up on SDR21 before the hurricance hit New Orleans. I think the one in New Orleans made it increase the most that and gas prices. When you buy PVC parts for your cannon you have to figure about half of your expenses go to gas (no its not that bad.) Just a off topic thought but has the price of gas increased in the UK and australia to or is it just in the US?

I live in Tennessee, and gas is cheaper in New York and L.A. The US prices vary from state to state, norther states and westerns states get thier gas from elsewhere, souther states get it from, you guessed it, the coastal areas. And in other countries the gas prices are different cause they use the taxes for thier national health care and stuff. Not an expert on that stuff, just using foggy info I have gathered up.

Sorry for the off topic - for pimpman22 the price for gas is forever fluctuating over in the UK but at the mo it seems to be ok even though it is still a rip of at 90-04p per litre around £3.60 per gallon

Yea, In australia here the petrol was about $1.20 per litre, then after the hurricane, it climbed to about $1.46 per litre. It really sucks if your driving V8's here. All aussies were angry about the petrol prices, they were planing boycotts (unshure of spelling lol) of all major petrol stations to bring the price down. but its about $1.31 now but.

problem with boycotts on that is the fact of, you have to band a whole nation together and make sure no one buys it for a few days. And its not a sure thing. We keep going further and further away from spud guns, lol.

Hell, if anything, it has been an educational and informative topic, lol. Where else ya gonna find this stuff outside the news, lol. Oh yea, post number 50. lol.
The original post had to with economics, all we did was go from PVC to gas. When I originally when I asked the question about gas I forgot that everybody but the US uses the metric system. So basically telling me the prices didnt make a differnce because I dont really know how that transfers over to dollars per gallon.
