Well, first things first, it'll work to an extent, but it'll be a Gaod-awful mess to clean up after every shot. When you look for vinegar, look for the concentration of the acid, you want the highest possible. I can't really give you a ratio for how much you should use because almost every vinegar and baking soda concentration is different. You'll just have to figure that out yourself to find what works best and just use the same kind all the time.
As for power, not gonna be a whole lot unless you use a whole lot of both ingredients. You'll have to wait for the reaction to get finished which can take some time and a good amount of shaking. The idea would work, how well it will work is another matter.

I have a 2 chamber desighn on hold viniger the other baking soda. On top of each other the viniger drops to the baking soda by ball valve. I turn that valve back again. Let it react in the chamber then use the second ball valve contecting the chamber to the barrel. Then it shoots.
well its been discussed in many threads but i dont think its ever been done so youd be the first that i kno of.
i think you should use somthin else that has a better reaction tho cause vinegar and baking soda dosnt get up to a very high pressure

Id probly shoot its outside. If i could pass it as a cheap science project that would do. If my school lets us bring home brewed fire arms.
