Im looking for a valve.

Preferably with an output close to a 3/4 QEV or a 1" sprinkler.
I need it to handle 280 psi at a min.
Id like to keep it small.

Been looking o google with no luck.

@anhydrite

You might be able to find a valve with a .75-1" porting that can handle that much pressure, but you'll be paying big bucks for it.

I'd build a copper or steel barrel sealing piston valve. Properly constructed, it should handle that pressure, and shouldn't be terribly difficult or expensive to build.

Short of that, use McMaster and similar sites to figure out what you want, then once you know, try ebay and craigslist.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

QEV's can handle 300psi.

The one I'm using is said by Technobots (battle robot supplier) to be useable to 300psi along with the other sizes it comes in.

I wouldn't bother using homemade valves at 300psi. The piston in a QEV is vastly lighter and is guaranteed not to cock up on you.

I looked on Technobots and thos QEV's should work great.

Price isnt too bad and they also have a 300psi check valve.

Thanks.

yea as everyone says if your looking for 280 psi atleast then you are going to pay alot for it...well alot more than a regular valve and it might have to be electronic...just buy a different valve from bc or something...they are alot but effective and probly as much as the one your looking for
