make a bbmg(cloud or other style) without having to hook it up to a compresser? for example have a tank under the gun, like a pnuematic?

i have tried searching, and i would just like to know if anyone has done it.

Thanks in advance

You would need a big chamber for the tank, around 24Litres for a decent gun. So whats the point? You still need to fill that tank to 100psi,and lug it around with your air supply.

If you want a bbmg without a compressor hookup you need a high pressure air tank (paintball 4500 - 5000psi tanks) or a co2 cylinder with extra caution because of the chance of liquid co2 getting into the gun and giving you a bad day.

I too would like to make my bbmg protable, but instead of regulating co2 or high pressure air, ive thought of buying a 7 gallon air tank to put in a backpack. i know this is cumbersome, but it would work fine for short burst firing.

A 7 gallon tank will not work for a bbmg. It would fire for around 7 seconds and then your out of air.

that would be ok for me though. if you noticed, he said for short burst firing aswell. I have no problem re-pumping it aswell.

what about one of those garden sprayer pump pack things, i cant remember what theyre called and i cant find a pic :(

COMPLETELY depends on what kind of gun you're shooting. My vortex strafer can shoot for over 45 seconds on a 5 gallon tank at 115 psi, without the pump running, without the pressure dropping below 80 psi.
