That 3" valve is HUGE!! I have seen them on cannons, but just sitting there by themselves... DAMN!

If I were going to the meet, I would want the exhaust piping combustion, in the back left. Perfect for cold weather firing, and it looks nasty as well.

The barrel had been modified, but the chamber and valve I still have--- surprised that you would remember that.

Eric: You ALREADY have one of my 3" valves!- No fair!

It's currently 10:15p.m. here, 9:15 p.m Las Vegas.
I've got everything packed and ready to go tomorrow. Sadly, as I stated previously, I won't be able to leave town until about 2 p.m Las Vegas time.
~ Should be there the latest, by 5 p.m.

It's really funny that almost EVERYTHING that was pictured on the floor (sans the assembled launchers) fit into a single plastic tote... It's pretty damn heavy though!

Well, here it is, the day after the 2nd Annual Las Vegas Spudmeet...
I finally had the opportunity to meet with BC Pneumatics, as I left too early last year and missed his arrival.

This guy is 10 times more intelligent than most of the adults I know (which is really saying much, considering the mentality in my area! ) ~ Seriously though, while the other "Dad's" were standing silently, BC Pneumatics, SpudMonster and I were happily discussing everything from C:B ratios to chemical makeups to detonation transitions... It was all very interesting.

frankrede, his father and younger brother showed up shortly after I did... and brought this HUGE big screen TV in the back of their truck. - Everyone had a great time blasting holes through it! 8)

I finally got rid of a bunch of miscellaneous crap that was just lying around, but still somehow managed to come back with a full tote of stuff that no one really wanted or had a use for.

I brought my propane-pneumatic and got off a few shots at over 140psi, until the tank and outside temperature started to drop. I really couldn't believe how far a 23" long sleeved barrel could shoot a golf ball!

About 5 minutes after I arrived... three police officers showed up and asked what we were doing. After several lengthy explanations and several demonstrations, they told us that everything was cool.

Listening to SpudMonster speak is like listening to a college professor attempt to word something for you in lamens terms. He has a suprisingly deep voice for his age and speaks very clearly. Both he and BC Pneumatics are extremely knowledgeable of just about everything you could think of asking... and then some.

All in all, it was well worth the drive after a very hectic day at work.

frankrede and family: It was a pleasure meeting you all - Thank you very much for the outstanding choice of target!

SpudMonster and uber-patient father: Your dedication, thus far, is beyond words. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to the both of you and much thanks for providing the compressor and shade!

BC Pneumatics: You rock! - I've got a bunch of stuff now that I'm not even sure what to do with.. but can't wait to get a chance to play with!
I appreciate the effort you put into coming to these meets, as you have a much longer drive than anyone else.

Everyone simply kicked ass!- I couldn't get any of my combustions to work correctly with Starter Fluid, but everyone seemed right at home with the stuff. ~ Had a lot of fun guys. Hope to see you all soon.

~Dave.

Oh boy it was a good time.
And it was a "honor" to be in all of your company.
And I hope that we do this again sometime.
Maybe next time I'll have something even crazier to shoot at.

Wish I went.... I'll see if I can get out there next year, I'll have more time to plan a way to get there.
EDIT: Hey frank, did your hybrid manage to make it out there?
