because then you cant extract H2 and O2 seperatly....
and if you just connect it to a bottle then it wont collect pure o2 and h2...

Why would you collect them seperately? Just collect them together and then you know you have a proper molar balance of both gasses.

yes but if you wanted to run a propane gun with pure o2 you could not, thats why i have 2 chambers

And with a machine that separates them you can make hydrogen balloons. They would be cool because they are both flammable AND lighter than air (they should be fairly safe, as they are full of pure hydrogen it can't ignite unless the balloon bursts and exposes the hydrogen to air. A candle flame will set it off because it will burst the balloon, but stuff like static electricity won't)
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Has anyone even bothered to check the link that i posted earlier on? I don't know why anyone is still trying to figure this hydrogen/oxygen thing. Has anyone ever mixed pure oxygen and pure hydrogen together? Do you know what happens? I do.

Simply mixing the two will not cause a reaction to occur, otherwise the Hindenburg would have never made it off the ground. Yes I know, it eventually returned to the ground in smoke and flames but that's not the point.

My point is that so long as you don't provide the energy that it requires to ignite, i.e. fire, you're fine.

It was to my understanding that an ignition source was not required, for the phenomenum I was thinking of, to happen. Sorry, no worries.

Not nessisarlily.. What ever you use as a electrolyte can contaminate your o2 ... also i have pure o2 bottled... so ill use the pure h2... that means i have to do steichiometry... but o well :-)

If you collect em together you have stochimetricly perfect mix.

not that hard scope, since all gases have the same molar volume at the same pressure, the volume of hydrogen should be double the volume of oxygen.

would a half inch copper chamber hold up to the pressure.

oh yeah the heating packets from MRE's are grear sources for large amounts of hydrogen

not nessisarily... but theoreticaly yes... in perfect conditions you have pure h20 without any electrolytes.

I never said it was hard yea it would be 66% hydrogen 33% oxygen by volume.
