i love this rifle but i had a bit of a more compact idea for ur chamber

Image

run a smaller chamber along the top of the stock, u will only be able to get one shot but it will be heaps faster to pump up and a bit nicer to hold

Yeah, soda bottles are entertaining to explode...... usually my friend and i go buy cokes when were bored, then slap a fitting in the cap and fill it with my compressor untill it bursts. of course, we observe it behind someting that would stop flying debris and we have hearing protection but, its LOUDDDDDDD. the highest pressure weve had one pop at was 170 PSI. most burst at 130............. but yes, the bottles DO rip the do not splinter into peices. someday ill do pressure testing with different types of PVC to see what happenes when they burst. but honestly, be careful with that soda bottle tank........... or at least wear hearing protection............

Coke Bottles that’s a great idea!!!!! Thankx Chaos!

I was looking to make some cheap lightweight air reservoirs to easily reload a paintball mortar.

If i pressure like 10 bottles taped together I got a huge reservoir for cheap!!

Any feedback in how to actually attach the hose the 2 litter so it does not leak.

Edit: I would not look to pressure it more then 100PSI is that safe. I still need to test for i figured i only need like 60-80 PSI to launch paintballs safely. Is that accurate?

i think a rubber hose with hose clams would work (correct me if i a wrong). if you do use 10 coke bottles i would advise you to only go to about 110 psi

Is heavy hose from Home Depot ok or do I need something pressure rated. But thanks did not think it was that easy.

On the topic though. If lets say the bottles are 100ci and the chamber is 100ci and the bottles are pressured to 100PSI . The chamber is empty. I open the ball valve to dump the air. Does that mean the chambers will equalize to 50psi?

yea. it will equalize to 50, unless you have a leak. and i don't know about the hose thing. really depends how think the hose is.

The spudgun looks good.
Anyway, how are you getting multiple shots from the bottle? I can only see the one valve there (the sprinkler) which looks like it drains the entire bottle for each shot.
so if you're fast on the trigger you can fire a quick shot, exhausting 20 pounds or so from the tank before the valve closes
Whats with Co2 bottle regulatet down to 170 psi or more ? to expensive ?

I think it will be better than 1, 2, 3 4 bottles and everything else.
But anyway the 4 Coke Bottles is a good solution , too.

007 is the best game ever! I love playing it on the 64.
