Ok i've had an idea about a good marble mg. its an over under design with a slip tee for the stock.
on the first elbow would it be ok drill a hole to put a hose barb there. By doing this i can feed the airhose up to the marbles.
It would have a 3 in chamber with a sprinkler valve.
I made a diagram on ms paint took me a while to get it to jpeg made it in 5 mins so its kinda sloppy.
Marble mg theory

You could use Adobe Photoshop. -Lppyromaniac wrote:I made a diagram on ms paint but it says i can't add the bitmap. Is there a way to turn it into a jpeg?

Photoshop doesn't come standard on Windows. You can use Paint to save a JPEG in the newer versions, under save as you should be able to change the file type under the filename.

uhm you do know that this will dump the chamber and will just create a very very brief blast of marbles. you might as well use a current spud gun and load it with a bunch of marbles
There is a design that has been tested and works, it's affectionately called the "Vogt" pattern, where the clip extends behind the barrel and get sucked out with the air. DR built one of these just 2 days ago.

that disighn has been made before -cough-me-cough- but the feeder is above the barrel and the mrbles will just fallright out. you have to have the feeder below the barrel.

zeig did you post it, and thanks for the help.
Ok, I have a question: does the Vogt pattern refer only to guns with the magazine 'behind' the barrel like that, or do guns with the magazine coming in at 90 degrees to the barrel (like Brian the Brain's marble machine gun) also work on the same principle?
Also, on the guns with the 90 degree magazine, does the mag have to be horizontal, or could it come up from below the barrel? Would there be enough suction to draw the ammo up out of the magazine?
