Australian Spudgun Laws.
Yeah the massicur over in the states is a shame but it also comes down to the bloke was mentaly unstable! Thats why you do a pych test when you apply for a licence in australia!! level 7 outa 7 witch means im pritty saine?
We have had 3 incadents in Australia involving 54 deaths majority came from port authur. Thats why the heavy handed gun laws came in after that coz the guy killed 36 people with semi automatic weopons. Spud guns in any form do not meet the same standards as an automatic weopon and are classed as A class E class weopons you refur to are metal muzzel loaded cannons like a howitzer or a grenada not your strait up spud gun nematic or combustion. As you can see the very interpratation of the gun laws can be confused. So yes re submitting the gun laws would help in clearing issues in the community.
As i said earler if a cop catches you doing something stupid with them you gonna get F@#KED up. If they catch you in an open field shooting at burn out dumpt car there gunna laugh and probly ask for a go. secondly if an officer of the law finds you in possetion of one DON'T LIE tell him strait up and cooperate with him hell be happyer to report that he didn't find the sorce of the loud bag in Ramsey St so hes returning to the station. and he wont have to do paper work!

Are you saying that you are completely incapable of anger?goathunter wrote:Those people are crazy.
Anger is a human trait and biologically engrained into our minds. If someone killed your family would you want them dead? everyone has a breaking point and what might seem a fair punishment to the person who did ill to you at the time may not in the future.
Edit: I never said that I fully supported our gun laws (I certainly didn't say that I supported our government's stance on spudguns) But i did say that Americas gun laws are too uncontrolled(constitutional or unconstitutional)

Proper anger and anger for the sake of nothing are two different things. It is quite justified to be angry when a tragedy(ie:family getting killed) happens but simple things like traffic shouldn't lead to "road rage".Sure I'm capable of anger and by no means am I a pacifist.I simply look at things before I get to the point of doing something about it,this usually allows me time to cool down before going off the handle.Do you think when I watch the news I don't get angry?Who couldn't?I've had my fair share of fights. And know enough when to fight and when not to.
And about the gun laws, lets just agree to disagree.I'm tired of repeating myself.Aussie gun laws are for Australia.I think they are to restrictive, oh well.American gun laws are fine by me.I still don't like having to get a license for everything but the laws are there for a reason.
Bubba,The psycho thing works here to.Problem was the Idiot at the mental ward never filed the papers on Cho so his record was "clean".

Yes it was a shame but rather than grill the doc who messed up or put the blame on Cho,the news is blaming it on his parent's dry cleaning business. And chemicals he may have been exposed too. I really don't care much for the news since they always want to blame someone else rather than the guy who committed the crime.Cho was crazy, still doesn't change the fact that he killed people so why blame dry cleaning chemicals? And I applaude you for sticking with the mental health system(better man than I).I have an aunt and uncle who are both mentally retarded. It is tough to deal with some times, but they are family.
See we dont get the news exposure in Australia like you do.
Dry cleaning chemicals? WTF? I only have one explanation to that! BULLS@%T!
Thats like telling the jury the devil made me do it or the Meth monkey! Ok no sympathy to be put out. But the poor bastard sounds to have just slipped through the cracks. and its l little hard to annalize someone when there dead. All they can do is create a profile from what people tell them he was like. But no one talked to him? So your never actuly gunna know what went wrong.
A sad day for the U.S. in witch once again someone screwed up and people got killed. It makes me sad to think that this guy had been planning for months and no one had the spair time to cheak in on him. When thats all it would take to see a behavour and get the steps in place to help!

I agree. The kid was totally anti-social.No friends or anything, for Four years of College! His roommate hardly knew him. That is definetly a warning sign. And nobody in the US is buying the cleaning chemicals line(except for the lawyers). Its a tragedy and that's all it can be.

Bloody pigs. They got up me and my lil bro because some old (female doggy) was scared about us testing my new ghetto pneumatic. I dont see how 50 psi is dangerous especially when launching rice
Raise your horns if you love metal.

No ramifications from the cops but mums totally pissed. And I told them the truth, its for my science project. Damn pigs said they demand respect because they wear a uniform, and all we did was say the word "mate". Whats Australia coming to.

I live in australia too, i have a rather powerful pneumatic and i live in a area riddled with geriatrics and nosey neighbours, so naturally its rather hard for me to run amok with my cannon whenever i want, so im usually forced into guerilla tactics around the bush areas with mates whenever i want a go.
I can understand the govt. policy on cannons but i think before someone is prosecuted for having one the context in which they built and used it should be taken into consideration, like what they fired, where and when.
That would punish the trouble makers who shoot at buses and houses and keep those who are responsible and fire in safe areas safe from police intervention.

i also live in aus but my friends dad is a cop and hes sick, best lad ever, ur cops on the other hand suck man. ive never really been caught shooting my pneumatic though, my brother is a good lookout when im pumping up my gun. i dont see how i would cause any problems though, i shoot off the end of a cliff into water (at around 80psi)
