How long would a paintball HPA/N2 tank last?

Ok, I am currently making a strafer variant, (Vortex block, not inline...), and I was wondering, how long would a 68ci paintball HPA tank last, regulated down from 3000 psi to around 120 psi? If that wouldn't last long, what about a 114ci tank? Or something like a 17cubic foot 3000psi SCBA tank?

It is through a 1/4 inch blowgun, with all 1/4 inch fittings on a nylon tube. Does that help? If not, please tell me the specs that you need.

2 litres of air at 110 psi lasted me for 4 seconds, so I reckon it should last you quite a bit - what exactly are your requirments?

Well, I was just looking for what to expect. I just want to be able to use my strafer as a portable gun, instead of having it connected to my air compressor. I want to get like 30k bbs from a fill if possible. So, I will most likely get 2 SCBA tanks.

A scuba tank isn't exactly portable, mine weighs a ton :-/

Have a look here, Plow quotes 25-30,000 BBs from a 5 lb CO2 bottle.

Also, I hope you're not planning to fit those 30,000 BBs in the same chamber all at once

Use regulated co2... IF you wanna use regulated hpa then your gunna need to buy a 200$ tank, or buy a 60$ tank and a 100$ regulator (i think palmers is the only company that makes female regs)... Just buy a couple 20oz co2 and a Palmers female LP reg. Or a fatty if they make a female version.

20oz Co2 gets about 1100 shots on a regulated nice gun.
You would need a 68ci 4500 psi tank to even touch that.

Well, the ones I am getting are SCBA, not SCUBA. The SCBA tanks are lighter, because they don't need to be as thick, as they don't need to withstand water pressure. SCBA tanks are generally used for filling paintball nitro/HPA tanks. I am getting (2) 4.8 lb. tanks. They are 17" tall, so they should be fine.

as for neospuds co2 rig, I was wondering, what the CuFT dimensions of that, because it looks like the same size as the SCBA tanks I am looking at, they look like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/2-ea-SCBA-Tank-Pain ... dZViewItem

Lol... 30,000 bbs in one fill? Yeah, right.. Nah, I am using a 2" T with a 2" extension of PVC, then a cleanout bushing & cap for filling.

Also, I am so lucky! My local CQB Indoor field www.warehouseairsoft.com , is letting me sweep thir floors, so In one time, I will probably get about a good 2.8 million bbs,

I have decided to get the SCBA tanks, but where could I get a high quality regulator? Does anyone know what the SCBA valve is called? I am looking for an conversion from the SCBA to a standard quick disconnect air compressor fitting. I might just get a dual tank apparatus, with a single regulator, so I don't need 2 regulators for less $$$.

I don't do pneumatics but I'd think that since ou are using such low pressures, cant you just use a regular CO2 paintball tank? I know I'm probably wrong so I'll accept the crud you old hardnoses will give me. LOL anyways just my two cents. Spud
