i dont think im a pro at this or anything, but i am quite handy with the camera's, although i only found out that you can make the spark jump a few days ago http://www.spudfiles.com/Combustion_Cannons/HVC1.php yes on this very site. all i was doing before was shorting out the capacitor as more of a taser than a combustion trigger. if you have any problems email me at either xenion@gmail.com or ur_fat_and_not_like_the_kidz_say@hotmail.com . Right now i am thinking about "souping" one up by ripping out capacitors from other cameras as well as batteries and led's, and adding them to one circut board. I figure ill have to rip out the ohmic resistors too. It will be one h*ll of a combustion trigger.

If anyone can give ME any tips too on "souping" it up, it would be greatly appreaceated

THX! :D

Because some people use them to ignite their spudguns... usually when they can't get a stungun.
Yes, I am the guy that owns & operates SpudFiles (along with our extremely helpful moderators).

A camra flash is about 300 volts, and the spark gap is around 3/4 of a millimetre, I tried to use a camra but it is too hard to get the gap right

I'f you add a coil to it, you can transform it up to 100,000 Volts (depending of the coil)
