I have a tank with a blow gun and I have been wanting to mod a cheap air horn to put on to my tank.

i would take the horn off of something like this

anybody know how to do that before I buy the air horn

The horn should just pop off like the nozzles on paint cans. Then look how it connects to the can and come up with simular hook up for the new chamber.

In short, use your head.

does anyone know the name of the gas that air-horns use? might be worthwile to slap some in my airsoft gun............

I'm Irish and know this weird fact, yet I've never even seen a real life air horn....

oh, well that works. perfect for my WA Hicapa. an airsoft bottle of HFC134a cost aobut 20 bucks.......... plus i get an airhorn out of the deal.......

you gave me the best idea! i had an air horn off my dads old car, so i went outside and araldited a quarter inch fitting to it, and attached it to a propane bottle :twisted: :twisted: its fairly loud but not loud enough :evil: so when i get a new air compresser i will connect it up to that :twisted:

What type of car did he have? Anyways thats a sweet idea and you can keep the can for an airsoft or BBMG :twisted:

a panel van it was from when he was like 18-20, i had the whole air horn thing but when we moved most of it broke(i dropped the box :( )

Now days you can buy air horns with the air compressor built rite onto the horn. Most run off of 12v. They are on Ebay all the time for cheep compaired to retail auto parts stores.
