Do they make adapters that allow you to connect a paintball canister to a bulk tank threading?

yea thats how people refill there paint ball tanks is from bulk tanks

they use things like this

Bulk tanks can be refilled at any welding supply store or some Sport Chalets that specilize in scuba diving. I use a 20lb cylender for some of my guns and have a beer keg regulator attached to it. They last for a very long time. My dad also owns a few fast food reseraunts, so I have access to regulators when ever I need them because of the beverage systems in the stores.

This CO2 adapter looks cool, did you say that it DOES work with paintball tanks?
