I was talking about ignition systems. If a dog is ignited somewhere in the process it's still a successful ignition, right?

I think you might have trouble getting a good arc at long distances. If I ever have a microwave to spare you can bet I'm going to try it anyway, though.

Well yes, but I mean for cannons, so unless you have a dog in the combustion chamber of your cannon, this isn't pertinent to the discussion. If you do have a dog in the chamber of your cannon, I think you have bigger problems to work out...

I don't see how this is "Best wireless ignition system ever".
Nothing new.
Like TurboSuper posted, you can use an old cordless phone for the RC system like described here.
Or, a remote FOB, like a car uses, like this one with a 300' range for $19.
Or, an RC setup, even the one from a cheap RC car.
Which in turn can control a photoflash circuit or a stun gun or a flyback or an auto coil or ...
Nothing new.
