One Simple ?

Miniature guns are novelty custom, unique, and sometime downright crude! Common construction materials often include pill bottles or pens. Show us your work!

I kind of agree with you, but some of the "ghetto" cannons show true ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
To be able to throw together a reliably functioning cannon from parts found in the common garage does show some talent. So I do have some respect for the "ghetto masters".

Having said that, building a ghetto cannon also shows a lack of patience and respect for your craftsmanship. I think everyone would agree that nicely finished guns are all-around better, but ghetto ones have their place too.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

Yeah, I think there are 2 different kinds of "ghetto"
Theres being resourceful and using what you have to create a sturdy, but not very aesthetically pleasing gun.
Then theres slapping together a load of pieces carelessly and without thought and logic or just to look cool.
The latter should just be called crap, whilst the first is ghetto.
I dont think people should intentionally build a "ghetto" gun, but should be resourceful and build the best gun they can.

I agree with both of u this is the point that i was trying to make! Protypes are meant to look "ghetto" because there not meant to look pritty there made to prove that a idea will or will not work. But idea's that everyone have tried are meant to become cleaner and better looking not like the have been throwen together in 5 minutes without any care at all and then they post them on the net and be like look at my gun man its like so cool because it looks like sh*t. It's like there trying to get out of admitting that they can't make a nice looking gun! I would just said all that because that is how i feel, I mean every one of my 34 mini's i have made over the last 8 monthes have been well crafted and i have been proud of them and to see people not care about how there gun's look is just a shame.
Peace out :)

A mini is usually just a gun you throw together because you are bored. In most cases it doesn't have to look good, it just has to be entertaining for the afternoon. I've really made a bunch of minis, but only posted my first when I came to spudfiles. My hybrid is technically a mini(though it weighs 15 lbs), and it's the most ghetto thing you've ever seen. But as far as I know there is only one other piston valve-based hybrid in the world, so I'm still proud of it.

Yeah, but are are you proud of its ghettoness or of its workings? Thats the real question!
And i think we are talking about all guns in general, not just minis!
But I get what youre saying
