I'm going into the BBMG area, and I'm just wondering where the hell I'm going to get BBs (Airsoft, 6mm). From what I've heard these babies EAT BBs.
Can I mass order them from a manufacturer?
Where to get BBs...

aahhhh... hhmmm... I just normally buy mine but if u have a shooting range near you that lets people shoot airsoft too then you could just ask to clean up the place and take the left over BB's.

you can buy bulk amounts of bbs from most online retailers, like airsplat.com ... when i say bulk i mean 25KG and there charging $260 for it. i was just browsing cobraairsoft.com (but they are based in Hong Kong) the other day i saw they were selling 48000 .2g bbs for $70 that might be worth it. i know when i buy a canister of 5000 .2g from Walmart its like $15 so in the long run it would probably be worth it. i have a vortex bbmg i use to actually play airsoft, in a normal day of airsoft i end up going through 4000- 8000 round. so keep that in mind when buying bbs, and most of the time im trying to be conservative.
be sure to check out my <a href="http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/ak-styl ... 9.html">AK Styled Vortex Gun</a> and my <a href="http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/at-4-t9627.html">AT-4 Rocket</a>

I got mine from eBay, but because I live in the UK, I had to pay a bit more than if I were to live in the US.
I got 4000 BBs for £10 (about $20 USD)

I have a airgun range in my basement. It's the crawl space that is attatched to the regular basement, so I put down plywood and plastic over the dirt, and cardboard over the walls. And I made it my range.
Anyway, after trying many thing, I finally found a good backstop that may work well for other people also. It catches all the BBs effectively, no bouncing and none go through. It isn't messy like magazines, newspapers, books, etc when they tear after shooting into repeatedly. And it doesn't bang them up like shooting into something metal. It's just a box with old shirts, socks, etc loosely stuffed inside. It works by slowing the BBs down. They don't go through the cloth, they just get cought by the first layer they hit and slowed by the cloth behind it. My rifle shoots at 750fps, and from less than 10 feet it traps them no problem, with a box 4 inches thick, at the most.

I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.
