am planing on making a new bigger air cannon with 2 3inch 3 foot chambers and am going to use 2 of the orbits 1 inch sprinkler valve, i know to make 1 of them work u need to use 3 9volt battery. but what about if u have 2 of them do you need 6 battery's or well the 3 battery work on the 2 valves?
You'd get better results modding them look in the wiki on how to do it. Heres the link http://www.spudfiles.com/spud_wiki/inde ... ification

What is the operating voltage?
3x 9 volts = 27 volts?
EDIT: Operating voltage is 24 volts, So 3x 9-Volt batteries should work fine.
And to operate both Valves, just have them both hooked up to the 3 batteries.
So, no you don't need 6, just 3. (THINK!)
But it is highly recommended that you mod them, It makes it much faster!

connecting the battery's (3) in series and the the sprinklers in parallel
but do you think it can open the sprinklers? thats the part i don't know?

Yes, It should.
Thats what I was trying to say.

Yes, it will work fine. The solenoids trigger fairly briefly on a spudgun shot, so you should be good for quite a while with 3 fresh batteries.stevenarroyo wrote: connecting the battery's (3) in series and the the sprinklers in parallel
