ok well this is my new bb gun-rifle it uses a modded blow gun and i am yet to make a chamber it will most likely be some sch 40 4 inch pvc made into a back pack I will also enclose the barrel in some half in pvc and make a tube gravity fed clip holding probably 20-50 rounds

It looks like you have rough hewn your stock with a medival battle axe..
Your project as a whole is still in its very rough beginnings...really barely worthy of showing at this point. Work your stock down A LOT more and keep plugging on the workings of the gun.
BTW, you are a very young man there ckman. Are you getting assistance from an adult or other experienced spudder?

Or perhaps it's this son?starman wrote:BTW, you are a very young man there ckman. Are you getting assistance from an adult or other experienced spudder?
Good to see that someone is appreciating that a blowgun is more than enough for a decent pneumatic BB gun

Easy there starman, he's a beginner and learning trail an error methed.Your project as a whole is still in its very rough beginnings...really barely worthy of showing at this point. Work your stock down A LOT more and keep plugging on the workings of the gun.
Pratice makes perfect ckman, keep up the good work!

Read this thread, it was very helpful when I made my first piston.

I like to play blackjack. I'm not addicted to gambling, I'm addicted to sitting in a semi-circle.
On the contrary, I was being easy on him...read my post again...it's not at all shocking and is in keeping with the typical constructive criticism offered here at Spudfiles.jrrdw wrote:Easy there starman, he's a beginner and learning trail an error methed.Your project as a whole is still in its very rough beginnings...really barely worthy of showing at this point. Just because he's beginner doesn't mean he can't be criticized or be encouraged to move to the next step.
@ckman: I would encourage you to stick out this BB gun you have started before moving on to a coaxial project. You have a ways to go on this one but you have a decent start on it, and some good ideas to boot!
Keep moving with it...we will help you when you run into troubles!!

well I mean I could add a coax to this couldnt I or is that something else I can't remember who did it but it was a see through and had a plunger then when the air was put in the plunger moved foward the the breech loading loaded anothe bb
Well a coaxial typically uses a piston valve and that would mean a vastly different design than what you have here. You would need to redesign just about everything and start over.ckman wrote:well I mean I could add a coax to this couldnt I or is that something else I can't remember who did it but it was a see through and had a plunger then when the air was put in the plunger moved foward the the breech loading loaded anothe bb
Your simple use of a blowgun and a backpack of air is a somewhat unique concept...why don't you continue with it?
ok well do you think there is a way to make it more powerful this is already very powerful but I am looking for something more like what type of thing is this guy useing on the link above
