It looks like you have rough hewn your stock with a medival battle axe..

Your project as a whole is still in its very rough beginnings...really barely worthy of showing at this point. Work your stock down A LOT more and keep plugging on the workings of the gun.

BTW, you are a very young man there ckman. Are you getting assistance from an adult or other experienced spudder?

Or perhaps it's this son?

Good to see that someone is appreciating that a blowgun is more than enough for a decent pneumatic BB gun :)

Read this thread, it was very helpful when I made my first piston.

On the contrary, I was being easy on him...read my post again...it's not at all shocking and is in keeping with the typical constructive criticism offered here at Spudfiles.

Just because he's beginner doesn't mean he can't be criticized or be encouraged to move to the next step.

@ckman: I would encourage you to stick out this BB gun you have started before moving on to a coaxial project. You have a ways to go on this one but you have a decent start on it, and some good ideas to boot!

Keep moving with it...we will help you when you run into troubles!!

Well a coaxial typically uses a piston valve and that would mean a vastly different design than what you have here. You would need to redesign just about everything and start over.

Your simple use of a blowgun and a backpack of air is a somewhat unique concept...why don't you continue with it?
